  8. The driver enclosed in this archive are designed to run with Microsoft
  9. Windows 3.1 and ATI Accelerator cards supporting 1280x1024. For Network
  10. Installations, please see "Network Installation" below.

  12. Easy Installation
  13. -----------------

  15. 1) Run the INSTALL.BAT batch file specifying the path to your Windows
  16.    directory.
  17.  
  18.    Example:
  19.  
  20.    INSTALL C:\WINDOWS <enter>
  21.  
  22. 2) Read the README.TXT file that is located in the Windows SYSTEM
  23.    directory.
  24.  
  25.    Example:

  27.    Your Windows directory is C:\WINDOWS, therefore, type:
  28.  
  29.       CD \WINDOWS\SYSTEM <enter>
  30.       TYPE README.TXT <enter>

  33. Manual Installation
  34. -------------------

  36. 1) Run WIN31280.EXE with the following syntax:

  38.    WIN31280 /EC:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM <enter>
  39.  
  40.    NOTE: If you Windows directory is not C:\WINDOWS, then specify
  41.          that path you are using (ie. C:\WIN)
  42.

  46. Network Installation

  49. 1) Run the INSTALL.BAT file specifying the path to your personal
  50.    Windows directory and the NET keyword:

  54.    INSTALL W:\WIN31 NET <enter>

  56. 2) Read the README.TXT file that is located in your personal Windows
  57.    directory.
